Get ready to read stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Students will explore exciting fiction and nonfiction stories about courage, quick thinking, and determination. From surviving in the wild to overcoming unexpected challenges, readers will meet brave characters who face danger and discover their own strength. Students will practice key reading strategies such as identifying the main idea, summarizing important events, and making predictions. Through shared reading, Socratic seminars, and creative response activities, students will build comprehension skills and confidence while discovering that adventure can be found on every page!
