CourseGraphic In addition to increasing IQ, chess teaches children to think deeply, gain confidence, solve problems, develop patience, compete well, and strategize and plan. Academic Chess, designed to accommodate all skill levels, makes chess fun by teaching with stories. Classes include lessons, chess play, a tournament, and prizes and trophies. Students receive workbooks appropriate to their skill level.
