« back to classes page
This new tour with our beloved professional L.A. guide, Johnathon, will provide a fascinating perspective of L.A’s newest and most nostalgic landmarks in both downtown and Hollywood. A guided driving tour of downtown will take us through multiple neighborhoods to showcase some of L.A.’s most historic treasures including City Hall, The Biltmore Hotel and the redeveloped Theatre District. We’ll stop and go inside the Los Angeles Central Library for a short walking tour focused on art, architecture and history. We’ll also see some of the newest additions to the L.A. skyline including the new developments around L.A. Live, The Bloc, the Wilshire Grand Center, The Grand L.A. and Grand Park. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch on your own at Grand Central Market, the legendary, 107-year-old downtown landmark that brings together the exotic cuisines and cultures of L.A. This afternoon we will continue to Hollywood for a driving tour that will showcase early Hollywood treasures like the Egyptian Theatre, Capitol Records, the Cinerama Dome and The Hollywood Roosevelt. We’ll take a short stroll along Hollywood Boulevard to see the Walk of Fame, the legendary Chinese Theatre and the best view of the Hollywood Sign. This tour involves moderate walking.
